This track was solely written to bring awareness to the violence happening on our streets. Kids are killing kids in senseless attacks.

lyrics

You Have A Choice

Whatever the problem is you can face it child,
I know it seems like hell but heaven is coming back,
you have a choice so just make the choice be wise,
if you try you'll never fail, you'll only fail if you never try.

Tryna scribe something right because the living is wrong,
we're still humming along to no particular message,
i used to a hear a song and learn a lesson,
now i hear them, i find myself detesting my love.
i'm sorry if it's depressing,
hearing us talk about the mess me and my brother's into,
struggle is up brother what's a fella to do,
take it in the gut and suffer while they kick off their shoes,
getting their cheese bread and butter while in council estates,
we're like some leaves in the gutter trying to catch the wind and fly away,
but this muddy rain water got us in a state i guess we just wait,
until they come and clean up the roads.
I guess the paper chase is selling a draw,
or licking stones pocket full of scores,
claimed he's a rebel but didn't know the cause.
He mimics visions that he sees on the box,
psychologically still dragging his ball and chain he bops,
he's out of the new era of the young and lost,
so his hats says new era running the block,
he says he'll die for his post-code,
they broke his home so he don't mind if he dies on the road.
It seems he didn't know how to deal with his troubles
they called him troublesome every since she left
but she was supposed to mother him.
Daddy's on the block smoking drugs with them,
daddies on a bend embarrass him in front of his friends.
Idolises big brother, big brother's in pen,
big brother used to hide a weapon under his bed.
It' seems out of three children he's the last one left,
cos little sister hits the road taking money for sex.
He's getting colder every day now a poser in his shades,
knife up in his waist now he's feeling like he's brave,
needs dough, his crew they know how to get a wage, so he
ticks an ounce and breaks it down into eights.
He didn't think about the consequence,
but education didn't seem the key to dough craved,
he want the fast money fine honeyz even a range,
they dream about the day he puts the ice in his chain,
but slowly to his own ego he is becoming a slave,
wants everybody to know how he's making his name,
they never told him now he's standing in the blue of the flame
then it burned, now it's hard to remember his face, he vanished without a trace.

Whatever the problem is you can face it child,
I know it seems like hell but heaven is coming back,
you have a choice so just make the choice be wise,
if you try you'll never fail, you'll only fail if you never try.

i see em they roll around in hoods and clans,
might as well call em the ku klux now it's on these corners we hang,
no need to lynch us, at each other we bang,
they say they're bad boys i say i am a good man.
They need to reach for the sun instead of reaching for guns,
they see pcs they dmc and run,
on the road bored like wiuger so much energy needs to be channelled,
but i aint of no youth schemes recently.
I've seen them take life knowing it's wrong,
then feel it's right when they hear it glorified in a song
don't get me wrong every crew has got the devilish few,
then there's the ones that follow fashion monkey see monkey do.
They egg each other on to be more raw, make a bond like roger more,
one so innocent, this child is innocent no more trying to live a life of crime,
this short sight got nuff of us doing time up in the hood life.
We cry for the good life, they sell shine i sell rhymes we all reaching for the lime,
can't put a foot right walking the wrong road,
this life is like Suge Knight we are all on death row.
Peace to Soraya sunshine kisses in the wind i blow,
in the memory of the Lena Anne Evans,
god rest her soul save a place for me in heaven nanny
but i aint coming till i save the world
and these kids are safe and happy.
Another death then it rains on the road,
mothers loosing sons over trainers and phones.
Revolution aint a joke karma comes back worse
lives gets stolen like a purse, heralding a mothers hurt.
It's written in dirt you get what you deserve have you heard that salvation is yours
if you repent your sins.
What happened to being something,
what you going to teach your kids,
how to wrap a scud and sell trees cousin don't be ridiculous.
Truthfully it's none of my business,
but i want to see us all living nice that beautiful life living.
Nas said it 'his thoughts for your mind'
i take a glimpse into time and watch a blimp and read the world is mine,
i made a choice to save lives.

Whatever the problem is you can face it child,
I know it seems like hell but heaven is coming back,
you have a choice so just make the choice be wise,
if you try you'll never fail, you'll only fail if you never try.
